Our Story

wealthixe was founded in 2018 by a group of HR professionals and financial educators who recognized a significant gap in the marketplace. While many organizations wanted to support their employees' financial wellness, few knew how to have productive conversations about money in professional settings or how to effectively communicate the value of employment benefits.

Our founders had each experienced the challenges firsthand. One had watched talented employees leave organizations because they didn't understand their comprehensive benefits packages. Another had witnessed workplace tensions arise from awkward money discussions that lacked appropriate boundaries. A third had struggled to measure the impact of financial wellness initiatives, making it difficult to justify continued investment.

These experiences shaped our mission: to provide practical, workplace-focused financial education that respects the complexity of organizational dynamics while building genuine capability within HR teams and leadership.

Since our founding, we've worked with hundreds of professionals across Singapore's diverse industries. We've refined our approach based on real feedback from participants who've implemented what they learned in their organizations. Our programs reflect current workplace realities and address the specific challenges that HR professionals face when supporting financial wellness.

Looking forward, we envision a future where every organization has the internal capability to support employee financial wellness effectively. Where money conversations happen naturally within appropriate professional boundaries. Where benefits education is seen as an investment in employee understanding rather than a compliance checkbox. Where financial wellness programs are measured meaningfully and contribute demonstrably to organizational outcomes.

What Guides Our Work

Workplace Context Matters

Financial topics exist differently in professional settings than in personal contexts. What works in a retail financial education program may not translate appropriately to workplace environments. We design all our content specifically for organizational settings, acknowledging the power dynamics, cultural considerations, and professional boundaries that shape how people engage with financial topics at work.

Capability Building Over Quick Fixes

We believe organizations benefit more from developing internal capability than from outsourcing financial wellness entirely. Our programs focus on equipping HR professionals and leaders with knowledge and skills they can apply repeatedly, rather than providing one-time interventions. This approach builds sustainable competence within organizations.

Respecting Diversity and Complexity

Singapore's workforce reflects remarkable cultural, generational, and economic diversity. Financial wellness means different things to different people, and workplace approaches must acknowledge this complexity rather than imposing singular definitions. We help organizations develop inclusive approaches that respect diverse needs and perspectives while maintaining professional standards.

Measurement Informs Improvement

Financial wellness initiatives deserve the same measurement rigor as other HR programs. When organizations can quantify the impact of their financial wellness efforts, they can make informed decisions about resources and approaches. We emphasize practical measurement methods that connect to broader organizational outcomes while remaining feasible for busy HR teams to implement.

Professional Boundaries Enable Progress

Effective workplace financial wellness requires clear boundaries about what organizations can and should address. Not every financial topic belongs in workplace conversations, and not every financial challenge can or should be solved through employment. We help participants understand where organizational responsibility begins and ends, enabling more focused and appropriate support.
